I Ran - Flock of Seagulls. Have you heard the song? It's a classic. But for not only a great song but something I achieved yesterday with little or no discomfort. Which for me is great news because I thought the forth coming football season was in serious jeopardy. I am not out of the woods yet but am definitely on the road to the fair.
One of the highlights occurred last week when I took to the squash court with one of Marlborough's best golfers, known for her competitive streak. Although I wiped her off the floor I was advantaged because of the type of ball we were using. A blue dot which meant it bounces like a bad cheque. I was pleased though to come through that unscathed and happy. She did however then kick me at Wii tennis and rubbed it in like a chloroform soaked cloth.
So my exercise was good, my eating was also good even being commented on. At a BBQ a friend commented on my "delicate serving". There are no treats in the house, which my poor wife is struggling to handle, however the fruit and water I am consuming would make a Nelsonian hippy feel right at home.
So stats: Start weight 101kg
Last weigh in 94.2
Today 93.3
Looks like I'm on track, just like Thomas the Tank Engine which is more or less what I looked like when I took this challenge on.
